Sensitive skin (shaving, waxing)?

i'm having a very hard time with hair removal... my skin everywhere is extremely sensitive so not only can i not shave as often as i'd like, but when i do, i get a rash and ingrown hairs, no matter how much i exfoliate and take care of my skin.

also, when waxing, everything is fine for a week or two, but when the hair starts growing out it becomes incredibly itchy and sore and red, and i get a bunch of ingrowns as well.

is there any alternative apart from laser (too expensive) and creams (which don't work for me) that i can use? or perhaps even some tips that would make life a bit easier?

thanks a lot!

Have you tried shaving with the shower running on your legs or even underwater? My aunt has very sensitive skin and does this. She also says that when she usually leaves hair removel creams on for a little longer than usual( instead of 3 minutes 5 or 6) not for too long though or else your skin will turn red and painful
