Small Skin Sack on Neck?

I had a little balloon like skin sack on my neck, no bigger than a dull pencil with maybe a drop of blood in it, I thought it was a pimple, so me being the picker that I am pulled it off, it didnt hurt, looked mostly like dead skin with a hollow hole in the center (where the blood was), does anyone know what it was? Is it serious? Should I go to the doctor even though it is not there anymore?

yeah i think it was a pimple. well either that or a skin tag which i'm pretty sure is harmless and goes away on its own.

Reply:Sounds like an in-grown hair. Guys get these alot. In the future, apply heat and work it a little. I'm afraid you might scar yourself up by "picking at it".
Reply:my dad had that on the back of his neck. he popped it and he thought it went away but it came back twice as big and filled w/ puss that he had to have drained at the doctors. when he went to the doctor they said it was an infection. so pretty much you have an infection on your neck that u probably should go see a doctor about, so they can make sure the infection is out. i forget what the infection was called.
Reply:it probably was just a small blood blister if it is gone now I wouldn't worry about it .blood blisters are not serious as a rule
