Sweetie beauty is only skin deep and once a guy gets between your thighs ,I can assure you he will not care what color you [they] are.
Discoloration in the skin between my thighs how can I fix this????
apply lemon juice exract in the area, let it dry and scrub with rough loofa while washing with warm water. repeat this every other day. finish with light lotion and dust some loose powder to reduce friction betwen ur thighs
Reply:wear pants(or cotton tights when u wear skirts ) more it helps a little and maybe use a light application of nadnolia bleaching cream it suppose to help remove scaring from acne marks so it may work there to or maybe some palmers cocoa butter for strech marks %26amp; scars
Reply:Who cares if it's black? Are you racist?
Reply:Here's how but youll need patience it didnt get like that in one day it wont go away in one day. Get a scrub any but pay a bit extra and get a good one - Yves Rocher if you happen to have one in your area sells many good ones, you can pick one up at the pharmacy but go for the $10 - $20 range ones. Scrub with once daily on the whole area that is affected (your whole body too if you want) when you use it go in circles and really make sure your getting the gritty stuff into the skin a bit. It will take about 28 - 40 days to achieve great results. Reason is your going to be replacing the damaged skin layer by layer. the scrub will aid in a couple things one of course youll keep it clean and smooth and be taking away dead skin cells, two the circular massaging motion with stimulate blood flow and tissue causing the new layers to come in healthier one by one. This will at the very least dramatically improve the look of your thighs but in the event that its still not 100% and a light tan rather than ivory skin if thats your case you can consider speaking with a dermatologist about treatment to lighten the area in Canada it would probably be in the $200 - $500 range in the US where unfortunately the doctors are money grabbers about $500 - $1000 (Im sure about my suggestion but not possitive on price)
Reply:i'm not sure how to fix it, but don't worry i don't think it's because you are overweight. i am underweight and i have the same thing! it only happened once i started tanning in beds so i thought it was just cause of that! do you use tanning beds?

hm idk but it's weird! and i totally know what you mean it's like you're black inbetween the legs LOL
Reply:there's no racist issue here.. it's a skin problem and i understand what you're going through.. now go and get this nice $9 skin lightening cream from this source to take care of your problem -

Lotion on dry skin worsen acne?

im always hesitant to put lotion on dry skin because it seems like it'll make it worse. like when i use a product for acne that dries out my skin will the lotion stop what the product is doing? by putting grease and oils onto my skin and everything. lol sorry if that makes no sense it's hard for me to explain. basically im asking does moisturizer stop acne products from working?
Lotion on dry skin worsen acne?
No. Moisturizer should always be applied to every skin type. I used to think it would make acne worse but that's not true. I've heard that over washing your face and not applying moisturizer can actually make you break out more because your pores have to work even harder and end up over-producing oil which leads to break outs. I use Mary K facial products. They work really well. There is actually a teen skin care line that they carry. I heard it works very well. I've also seen acne moisturizers that have very light moisturizers that you might want to try. I hope this helps and good luck :0)
Lotion on dry skin worsen acne?
no, using a mosturizer is the best thing that you can do for your skin. When i get a breakout I always put louds of acne creams and what not on it. But actually, the best thing to do for it is to put lotion on it, get a good lotion though like Cetaphil. You dont want a scented shimmer lotion on your face. With your skin hydrated it can heal faster.
Reply:Conventional lotions and creams contain phthalates (plasticizers that make lotions and creams creamy) - known carcinogens, ladies. Phthalates also cause genital defects in males born to mothers who 'load the stuff on' or use multiple products containing phthalates. Even if they used it years BEFORE they got pregnant. The defect is that the urethra doesn't come all the way to the head of the penis. The child, baby, has to suffer through multiple surgeries to correct this most sensitive area of that tiny, tiny body. Keep hesitating - like forever. Then, hopefully, you will never have to live through what used to be 1 out of every thousand, but is now 1 out of every hundred mothers has to experience - the pain and agony of the suffering of their baby boy.

Just use plain soap and water. Wipe with witch hazel to kill the bacteria associated with acne. Touch tiny dabs of liquid vegetable oil on the dry areas.
Reply:acne is one of the skin disorder, it is not a disease, for to treat acne eat plenty amount of fish as much as possible, abbruptly stop drinking milk, dairy products like choclate etc, keep the affected area clean using soft soap, don't try to hit the affected area with your nail then it will be worsen, use glycirene based soap and lotions, use sun screen lotions, before going to bed wash the affected area with the soap and use the lotion, because in night only it will be increase, be in chill region like a/c etc............... if you follow this you will get cure of this acne
Reply:Don't think so. Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. Reply:Dry skin problems respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an all-natural cream that contains natural oils that gives soothing and glowing results.

In a more serious skin disease, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.

Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include lotions with natural-oil ingredients. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.

HELP! Skin care issues.?

Can anyone recommend good skin care products. I've had a mild break out (not tons of zits, but a few on my cheeks) but I also tend to have dry skin that needs moisturizing. If I put on lotion, I break out more, if I don't I get fine lines. I'm looking for a quality product line. Any tips or suggestions?
HELP! Skin care issues.?
you dont need to go and spend $30+ to take care of the problem here's what i would do (you can buy this stuff @ wal-mart). Buy a face wash like neutrogena for acne that has Sacrylic acid in it. also get an Alcohol-free Toner. and buy a moisterizer that has SPF 15 in it that also has either sacrylic acid in it or benozoic acid (not sure thats how u spell) to wear during the day. at night use the face wash and toner again and use a night cream with the sacrylic or benozoic acid in it (this treats acne). do this everyday and use a face Masque that tones and dries out blemishes once a week, your skin will be cleared up in a week 2 @ the most good luck!

You'll know it cause it will have other products around that say for coimbination skin, and oily skin (by neutorgena) for moisturizung try aveeno poriducts. My skin...oily+dry..what to do?

I have oily skin and dry skin. It's oily in the t-zone but my cheeks are dry. What kind of soap should I used? I break out easy so I have to use almay.
My skin...oily+dry..what to do?
I have problems with my skin too... Seriously...

Super oily... T_T

oily + dry = combination...

The best advice that I could give to you is to consult a dermatologist on what your skin type needs. Because there are a lot of products that varies to different skin types. Also, I tried and tried and tried using LOTS and LOTS of diff. products but I still had a breakout for 6 years. Since then, I went to a dermatologist and she gave me some medications on what product is appropriate for my skin. I followed her instructions and after a few months of maintaining this regime I have arrive to a breakout free skin.. :) Less oily, less pimples... hehe.. =)

I want flawless skin.?

I have decenrt skin, a few blackheads and some milia, i get little blemishes in the corners of my nose, I also get shiny on my nose and my pores are kinda big on my cheeks.

I use Neutrogena Deep Clean, Neutrogena Blackhead Scrub, Proactiv Toner, and Neutrogena Moisturizer.

Its not improving my skin but its not making it worse either.

My skin is kind of dull and I want that model shine.

What should I use, and no I can't go to the dermatologist.
I want flawless skin.?
Okay well here I go on my rant again..

I tried Proactive before .. twice and honestly though it works well, it takes it's sweet time and is very pricey to begin with.

I switched to Clean and Clear daily Cream Cleanser and it's working incredibbllyy well for me.

It's way faster than proactive and as long as I wash morning and night with it, it will always ALWAYS keep the acne away. But if I stop for a few days.. wham .. back it comes.

And this is from a girl who wears foundation and bronzer.... to get a product that can keep your face clear looking even after it's had makeup on it all day is a pretty sweet deal.

Try to avoid cleansers with scrubs as those can spread bacteria and make it worse.. occasional scrub is enough.
I want flawless skin.?
try natural products.

Yellowish Skin?

Ok, my skin looks quite yellowish for some reason.. only the skin on my face. I've only just noticed this, is there anything i can do? when i say yellow, i dont mean it's bright yellow, it just looks a bit.. pale with a hint of yellow. I dont know why it looks like this, i am allergic and suffer from hayfever, if that has any connection? please can you give me some advice on how to get rid of this, it's really getting on my nerves.. thanks.
Yellowish Skin?
have you consulted a doctor?

Jaundiced skin has to do with your liver malfunctioning. If its only on your face it could easily be something else, but definitely get to a doctor asap.
Yellowish Skin?
What color are the whites of your eyes? Airborne allergies should have nothing to do with the color of your skin. Are you having any other symptoms? Nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain or discomfort? Jaundice can be a sign of a liver disorder if in fact you are jaundice. It can also indicate a blockage in a duct, such as gallstones. You should see your doctor asap.
Reply:Yellow tint indicates a condition called jaundice. It is caused when the liver is not functioning properly and the bile (waste) is released into the body verses being filtered through the liver. Try looking at the whites of your eyes...they will be yellow also.

You need to consult a physician for a proper evaluation.
Reply:well, the color of skin is a good indicator for a lot of things. skin can have different colors like frankly red which is called erythema, A redness of the skin resulting from inflammation, for example, as caused by sunburn, or can be blue if there is shortage of oxygen for some reasons. but for the yellowish color of skin which is called jaundice can be an indicator for liver problem so my advice is to run some tests like liver function tests to exclude any organic disease.

Best way to get clear skin in two weeks?

I usually have very very clear skin year round, but I've been busy the past week and a half and have not been able to wash my face very often. My skin broke out and it isn't all that easy to get my skin back into shape once it has done this. I need clear skin for the first day of school. Help!
Best way to get clear skin in two weeks?
Didnt you ask this question and i got best anwer yesterday or the day before well here are some more tips i didnt put

Remedy 1: Vitamin E

Try applying vitamin E to the scarred area three to four times daily to help reduce its visibility. If you keep at it, you should see some results after one to two weeks. It takes a long time before you get really noticeable effects.

Remedy 2: Tomato

Placing slices of tomato on your skin can act as an astringent to break up oil, lift away dead skin and help prevent acne. The pulp of the tomato has the strongest astringent properties.

Remedy 3: Toothpaste

Apply a dab of toothpaste on your pimple before bed. This is useful for new pimples, especially big ones. Whenever I spot a new pimple, I try this. Usually the next morning, it will be dried out enough to pop on its own.

Remedy 4: Honey and pearl

A useful facial pack for acne is honey and pearl powder.

Apply a mask of it for 15 minutes. If you can keep doing it every week, your skin will become lighter and smoother.

Remedy 5: Lemons

Lemon juice is effective in lightening the dark spots left by acne and pimples.

First, cleanse the scarred area with water. Soak up a teaspoon of lemon juice with a cotton ball and smooth it over the marks. Leave the juice in place for ten minutes, then rinse.

Be careful how often you use lemon juice: it can have the side effect of making your skin light sensitive. Make sure to cover treated areas with sunscreen before going outdoors.

Remedy 6: Tea tree oil

Some medications made from natural ingredients, such as rosehip seed oil and tea tree oil, will not only help to heal scars, but also significantly work to prevent future scarring.

Remedy 7: Fruits

In addition to eating fresh fruits to supply your skin with collagen-building vitamin C, you can also smear them onto your face as an acidic exfoliant.

Puree a quarter cup of pineapple and smooth it onto your face. Leave it in place 10-15 minutes, then rinse.

Pineapple contains ascorbic acid which helps brighten the face and fade acne. Apple works similarly. Soak a slice of apple in hot water till soft, then apply it to any scarred areas. Leave it for 20 minutes, and then rinse.

Remedy 8: Leeks

Peel the membrane from white are of the leek while watching TV or resting. Place a peeling over scarred areas for ten minutes every day. You can secure it with a bandage to keep it from falling off. Keep this up for a few weeks and you'll see the color fade a lot.

Remedy 9: Ginger

After cleaning your skin, cut a few slices of fresh ginger and apply to the affected area for 20 minutes. You'd better do this laying down, otherwise the ginger may fall off. It might burn a little, but probably not too much. The ginger may leave behind a bit of redness after you removeit, but don't be too worried. Just wipe off and have a good rest. In the morning, the scar should become smooth, and will hopefully fade completely within two weeks.

Remedy 10: Granulated salt and sugar

Some netizens said granulated salt and sugar are useful. Personally, I prefer sugar. After washing your face, mix some sugar and water in your hand and rub your face for two minutes, then rinse.

The best treatment is prevention. You should try to prevent acne from ever forming. Below are some ways to reign in the red bumps:

1. Include green, leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Drink a lot of water to to regularly to flush out toxins, and don't forget to drink a glass before breakfast to flush out the stomach. Avoid deep-fried snacks.

2. Try to have at least one bowel movement per day.

3. Get to bed before 11pm. You have to give your body enough rest time or it won't heal. Don't snack before bed

4. Don't use a computer any longer than you need to, and keep your phone a distance from your bed. Theradiation both put out can have noticeable effects on your skin.

5. Change your bedsheets and pillow covers often. Those areas are like magnets for dead cells, dander, mites and dust - all of which can cause an acne breakut. Some skin experts even recommend changing pillow cases daily.

6. Resist the urge to pop your pimples. It can cause even more damage to the skin and worsen scarring. Resist the temptation!

7. If you get acne on your body, try not to wear tight clothes that will prevent your skin from breathing. You may want to avoid scarves, headbands and caps which can also collect dirt and oil.

Lastly, don' expect scars to vanish overnight. The ultimate remedy to remove acne scars is persistence. Be confident about yourself and believe you are beautiful, and be confident that others find you beautiful too .

Put honey on the infected area, it draws out bacteria and softens the zit. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar with 3 tablespoons milk unti lthey form a paste. Rub the mixture gently on your face for 1 minute. Rinse well with warm water for clear skin ---%26gt; this is from a CosmoGirl! article for clear skin.

Moisturize your skin also. I would reccomend, even if you don't have that much money to buy a good moisturizer that is OIL FREE.

Or you can do a steam treatment

Boil a pot of water and remove it when it starts to steam and then put your face over it and keep it there for 10 minutes. Then wash your face. The steam will open your pores and then washing your face will get rid of bacteria and dirt.

HOPE THIS HELPS AGAIN

Inexpensive skin care...?

I've been using Proactiv, but it's never completely cleared up my skin, so I want to stop using it. Also, its a little expensive, and I'm going to college soon. I need something that works really good that I can get at Wal-mart. My skin gets oily, but also dry and flaky sometimes, so I need something thats not too drying, plus a good moisturizer.
Inexpensive skin care...?
ok i had the same problem

you should wash your face 3 times a day with Soapex and apply Eryacne on your zits when you feel like it needs it

it should help
Inexpensive skin care...?
Look in to acne free and any berts bee or aveeno product.

I swear by Arbonne's lines but not a college budget.

Be sure your creams are pure and natural and no mineral oil to them this dries out already healthy skin even worse to use on dry skin.
Reply:A good moisturizer that's well priced for what you get - a decent size and is non-comedogenic (won't clog your pores) and has sunscreen is Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture with SPF 15.

For a pimple cream, have you tried any salicylic acid products as opposed to benzoyl peroxide (which I think is what's in Proactive)? A good one to try that's not too drying is Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment.

I use these two products regularly and usually get them from Walmart. Good luck finding the right products. Remember, it's all trial and error, but yeah, it's frustrating finding the right ones for your skin.

i used to have patchy skin on my face with a similar description to urs..

I dont know if it is the same but here is what i did:

moisturise day night and whenever you have free time, you cant over moisturise and even if it doesnt work, it will keep you looking younger for longer! (if you do it over a long period)

just try the moisturise and if that doesnt work after about 4 - 5 days then go to the chemist and ask them to reccommend something..

give it about 2 weeks (inclueding the moisturising time)

and then go to the doctors..(if the chemists prescription didnt work)

good luck though! x

Are skin lightning creams dangerous to the skin?

I am using a movate cream on my face, i want to know if is dangerous or not, i am just using it because i wanted a light skin and wanted to look more bright.
Are skin lightning creams dangerous to the skin?
If you use any cream with hydroquinon, then its very dangerous. Initially the skin appears okay after some time you'll have what appears to be patches and your skin could be paper thin. Try using creams made from natural products. Log on "Skinlight cosmetics Ltd" (UK) and they will have some thing for you.

The skin under my nose is flaking! Is there a quick and effective way to heal this skin?

I have a terrible headcold and the constance noseblowing has dried out my skin! I've tried normal moisturizers, but it's not really working.
The skin under my nose is flaking! Is there a quick and effective way to heal this skin?
Oh hun! feel better! I get the same thing when I get a cold. Here's my method of getting that skin back together!

Vaseline Intesive Care moistureizer!!! I swear by it!! Put a dab of that on there. After that I follow up with petroleum vaseline. It really seals in the moisture! (here's a hint, use the vicks vapor rub with vaseline instead of plain vaseline! It seals in the moisture and unplugs the stuffiest of noses!)

Feel better soon, and I hope this helps ya out!
The skin under my nose is flaking! Is there a quick and effective way to heal this skin?
its cause you blow your nose too much just put lotion on it daily
Reply:Eww
Reply:You need proper skin care read some skin care tips and more on this site to help you with it
Reply:any kind of chapstick will work. just put it on like you would for your lips.
Reply:keep lotion on it (unscented) ... and try not to rub so hard when you wipe your nose.

Hope you feel better!
Reply:Wet or moisten a tissue with water or lotion. Secondly apply vaseline frequently. This will help reduce the roughness caused by blowing, wiping and friction from the tissue. It will help!
Reply:Try a mild cortico-steroid, like OTC 'Cortaid'
Reply:Dont breathe heavily.

Get a good nights sleep, and it'll be better.
Reply:VASELINE

Reply:This happens to me too...I say keep it moisturized (Palmer's Cocoa Butter and Avon Moisture Therapy is what I use) and try not to blow your nose so much. Also you may want to change your lotion and facial cleaner/soap.

Combination skin with an uneven tone.?

tried various skin care products, skin gets either too dry or oily after application. i've also tried some toners to blend my complexion, open to suggestions. tnx.
Combination skin with an uneven tone.?
Try a homeade recipe that is made from all natural products and not from chemicals. One I would reccomend is pure honey mixed with lemon juice. The honey will moisturize and soften your face, while the lemon tones your skin--and lightens--but also it cleans your face of dirt and grime and is good for pimple prone skin.
Combination skin with an uneven tone.?
Try Almay
Reply:try olive oil, that will enriches your skin complexion %26amp; maintains the skin moisture as such...
Reply:those skin like yours, quite difficult to take care..the product that you hav to use are more than those single problem. u must do double cleanse, scrub(scrub more on the darker area), is better is u got ampoules n use two kind of mask on your face..if your skin dry, better use those cream type mask. for with multi vitamins' oily skin use clay mask is good for it..
Reply:Try using avon. They have lots of different products for different skin types. Go here to buy them www.youravon.com/jmahan

All natural products: skin and hair, what's the best brands?

Alright, I'm a flight attendant, so my skin and hair take a beating... without all the moisture being sucked out, I would have normal skin. I want an all natural brand with no sulfates or parabens. So far, I have NOT liked Jason or Aubrey organics. I'm looking for a new shampoo and conditioner, as well as facial skin cleanser and moisturizer, preferably with built in SPF... what natural brands are good?
All natural products: skin and hair, what's the best brands?
philosophy skincare is phenomenal. i am also very fond of bare mineral makeup by bare escentuals. my skin is naturally dry and super sensitive.

Chinese Crested Hairless Skin Question?

I bought a chinese crested a few days ago and he has pimples on his skin and his skin in very rough feeling but not dry and he also has trace curly hairs on his back. and also has hairs on his muzzle. Do i trim the hair down or is there a special somthing i can do to get rid of the unwanted hair in those areas and what can i do about the pimples and roughness on his skin
Chinese Crested Hairless Skin Question?
Congratulations on you choice. We have 3 wonderful little hairless boys. They are so lovable, smart and entertaining. There is not a day that goes by that they don't leave us in stitches. One of mine had blackheads and pimples at about 4 months of age but when he went thru adolescence only a few here and there. I use Oil-Free Acne Wash by Neutrogena and a small buff puff when bathing them once a week. I use a tear free shampoo on the face, head, tail and paws. After I dry them and comb their hair I use a cocoa butter lotion. Prior to bathing I use the small Peanut razor which can be purchased at Pet Smart, Pet Co, or perhaps even Walmart. This helps break open the heads of the pimples, and the buff puff gets the blackheads out. I was scared to do my first grooming but even if you shave off hair that you didn't want to, remember it will grow back. We have found that it is easier to do this after they have run around outside and played for a while or take them for a walk so they can get rid of any excess energy and cooperate. They get treats between stages as well. If the pimple problem gets any worse your vet will put him on a low does of antibiotics to prevent any infections. If you bought him from a breeder they should be able to answer any of your questions as well. Good luck, don't be afraid and enjoy that precious little boy of yours!
Chinese Crested Hairless Skin Question?
go to the veterinarian. they can answer your skin questions. a groomer could trim the hairs if you don't want to do it yourself.
Reply:Chinese crested take a lot of extra skin care. Your dog may need skin lotion. They are very sensitive to sunlight and may burn. Don't trim its hair!

Reply:i know that you can use baby oil to soften the skin just use a little ever day and when you bath him use a oatmeal or other soothing shampoo....i work at a kennel and we have one that comes in and we shave off the trace hair on his back and face...their face can grow a fair amount of hair like the legs....in the summer use baby sunscreen and winter use a coat they are sensitive b/c of the lack of body hair but shaving thr 12 hairs won't matter...they can not live as an outside dog so if you protect him he will be fine....
Reply:You shouldnt cut any of his hair. And it sounds like he needs to get to a vet. He needs skin conditionar
Reply:We had one at the shelter I worked at and his back was all rought and lumpy, the vet said the poor guy got sunburnt! Sounds like he needs a visit with the vet and a groomer(they'll know what to do with the hair issue)
Reply:They have special skin requirements so I would recommend buying a book specifically on the breed for notes on coat care...the AKC website also has info on specific breeds and coat requirements.

I would take him to the vet for the pimples and make sure he doesn't have canine acne (could be stress from a new home) and they can give you good prevention information and more info on coat maintenance or diet needs.
Reply:Some people use Phisoderm to clean there skin. If you put oils on him he will probably get more pimples. His skin may be rough because of blackheads. A little sunbathing can really help clear up the skin, just make sure he isn't out to long or he will burn.

You can buzz or snip the stray hairs if they bother you. I would certainly shave his face, most people do. You can use a little trimmer like a peanut trimmer. Just take your time and be careful.

Tender Skin on bottom of arm?

Since last week i havebeen experiencing tender skin on my left arm in the underneath area....

its not red, swollen or have any sort of rash...

about a week ago i had been suffering from back pain, and I thinking it may be a nerve? Is it possible for my arm to feel a burning sensation/ tender feeling if its a nerve?

and yes i have tattoos on my arm, but my skin that is not tattooed is also affected, and i show no signs of a tattoo allergy, from what my DR. says
Tender Skin on bottom of arm?
My cousin has a tattoo and he had the same problem in the same spot...he just rubbed it with medicine that his doctor gave him and he put on lotion...I hope u get better!

Healthy Skin?

I worry about my skin, i never burn really because ive always used sunscreen. but now that I like to tan and lay out in the sun for quite awhile i dont put it on as much as i should. I usually just put on 8 spf tanning oil and then 30 spf on my face. I also use coca butter vaseline lotion of my body and face. What else should i do for my skin?????
Healthy Skin?
I think you are doing the right thing so far. Wearing sunscreen is a big deal to prevent any damage (and trust me...I got burnt and I'm black). It really depends on the type of skin you have. Fair skin people need to wear higher spf while darker skin can wear a lower spf. Just to be safe you may want to wear at least a 30 because you don't want to get wrinkles or dark spots. And a lot of people these days aren't even really getting tans from the sun but instead are using the spray on tan. Which if done properly will look really good. Anyway, I hope this helps and good luck.
Healthy Skin?
Do you know what you're doing is the equivalent of baking...like in an oven baking? SPF basically means how long it'll take to burn. So if it takes 10 minutes for you to burn the with SPF 8, it'll take 80, and with 30, it'll take 300 to burn. But since sunscreen, tanning oil, and vaseline are all oil based, your asking for pre-mature age spots, wrinkles, tough/leathery skin, and skin cancer.

You might want to just stick to sunscreen with a low SPF and take time to tan than slather yourself with oil.

New skin after peeling skin?

On Wednesday of last week, my mom wanted me to use this sun lamp to dry up the oil in my face cause it broke out really bad, and well five minutes in front of it burned me cause I'm so pale. I wasn't even that close.

And well yesterday I started peeling and it carried into today, and now the new skin is pretty red, and it feels tight.

I kinda don't want people to see me like this, and I've kept my face cool with cold water, and I've been drinking a lot of water too. I've also put Aloe Vera on my face a few times too.

How quickly can I expect this redness to go away? I don't care much for the tightness though it still bothers me, I just don't want to have this red on my face. Peeling I can deal with...just not the redness...
New skin after peeling skin?
I can't believe that your mother would do this to you!! You have burned your skin so badly that it is peeling off and the skin underneath is raw. This would probably be considered a 2nd degree burn. You should probably call your doctor right away to get some recommendations on what you should or should not put on your skin at this point.

If you have oily skin and are prone to breakouts and acne, then you need a soap for oily acne prone skin. A good one is Pan Oxyl bar. It contains benzoyl peroxide and comes in two strengths, 5% and 10%. Washing away the dirt and oils is far better than burning your skin which could permenantly damage your skin. You may also need a topical acne medication like Retin-A which can only be prescribed by a doctor.

Remember that wrinkles and skin cancer are caused by ultra violet radiation. Whether it comes from the sun or a tanning bed or lamp makes no difference. Also most of the sun damage that people have, occured before the age of twenty. It sounds like you have very fair skin, so NOW is the time when it is critical for you to protect your skin.

The best thing would be for you to talk to a dermatologist (skin doctor) or your regular doctor. There are plenty of things that can help your skin. And don't let anyone burn you again!
New skin after peeling skin?
hm. i would guess no more than a week till the redness is all gone, and that might even be an overestimate. you are doing all the right things, keep it up, you'll heal quickly.

and, just as a side note, make sure you're also eating normally too. your skin cells can't regrow as quickly as normal if they are undernourished. it sounds silly, but your epithelial (skin) cells need food too.

Dry skin on your face??!?!?
!change the moisturiser! thats the only way to fight dryness! use a cream moisturiser, instead of lotion!
Reply:Oh...poor...

I think the first thing is change your skin care products, try not to eat beef or seafood, they will make the allergic become worst and should go and see your Doctor if it doesn't get well...

You can try to use some natural skin care products as you sounds like you have allergic to your current skin care products! When skin has allergic to chemicals, fragrant, alcohols or preservatives in skin care, it turns really dry and blotchy redness coz your body is try to fix it and against the allergic.

Hope you will get well soon!
Reply:You need to exfoliate. Skin flakes off every day, but not all of it. If you're not using anything to get rid of the excess dead skin then it's just sitting atop your face and fresh/new skin which will give your face a dull and dry appearance. Dead skin left on can also lead to acne because it's building up in your pores.

Try this - http://www.stives.com/skin-care-products... It's carried in just about every store and gentle enough to use everyday.

Also invest in a better moisturizer, one that is oil free and a light moisturizer. Apply it to a clean face that has been rinsed with cold water after washing, leave it just slightly damp, not bone dry, so the lotion has something to absorb into. There's one I use that works really good and it also helps prevent wrinkles that you may see in your 20's. - http://yvesrocherusa.com/control/product... You only need very little of it. Just dip your finger, no more than a pea size amount.

Dry skin(causes)?

i never have dry skin, but recently my skin feels like its tearing and stretching apart.

what can cause this all of a sudden?
Dry skin(causes)?
That is definitely a symptom of dry skin and usually happens when the weather changes. It may be because you are aging and your skin loses elasticity. Try to find a really good moisturizer. If what you are using now has mineral oil in it, get rid of it! Mineral oil makes a barrier on your skin and doesn't let anything in.
Dry skin(causes)?
Dry dry causes are summarized at the source below.

Reply:soothe dry skin with an all natural skin care moisturizer. this can help keep the skin moist all day. stay away from factors that can rob moisture out of the body like dry air, too much exposure to the sun and humidity.

there are also natural ways to beat dry skin by avoiding long baths and showers. talk to your skin care expert and get some recommended skin care treatments. visit http://www.skinsosilky.com for more tips to beat dry skin.

Oily skin!?

I have found out that people get pimples because of oily skin. Kind of thinking about it, I notice that I have oily skin as well. I wash my face, and in 15-20 minutes, my face is oily again. I wash my face at night, and when I wake up, it's AMAZINGLY oily.. I don't want more stuff to put on my face.. any pills?
Oily skin!?
you should go see a dermatologist.
Oily skin!?
clean it with gel cleanser use astringent to wipe off the oil
Reply:try to clean your face with alcohol that dries your face out
Reply:Dude I still have the same problem I have tried pills they don't work but I play sports and it gets oily but as long as you PAT it it works or trow water on it it works but don't touch it don't rub it!!!! Try Clearacel (idk if that is how you spell it lol) IT WORKS
Reply:Umm... if you have acne then I suggest accutane. It's very strong and the side affects are usually just chapped lips. If it's just oily skin get a facial or use rubbing alcohol to dry your skin...
Reply:see a doctor
Reply:You should really check out the source on how to deal with oily skin. It should help you to understand better and minimize the oil!
Reply:See a dermatologist. Sometimes they perscribe you creams, and sometimes pills too.

You could try Oil Absorbing Sheets, they are sold at drugstores by the face soaps.

Getting lighter/whiter skin?

getting lighter/whiter skin?

Does anyone know of anything that will help your skin get ligther? My skin is starting to get dark spots in certain areas and in general it's too dark. I have been trying to use lemon juice for the past 5days because i heard it's acid and can burn the melanin inside of you, making a lighter complexion emerge. But so far it has done nothing, so is there anything else i can do? Also is there any creams, lotions, etc i can buy at a department store.
Getting lighter/whiter skin?
There are fade creams available at your local was-mart or any drug store.I heard that black and white fade cream is good.Palmer's has a good one too,but with any skin lightener the process is slow but will work with continuous use.Make sure you buy on with sun protection in it or use a sun block with it because sun can make the spots reappear.PLEASE BE DOING THIS FOR THE RIGHT REASONS!!! Make sure you LOVE yourself the way you are,and are only doing this to fade the dark spots. Not to preach, but so many young women are learning to dislike themselves because the media says that they are not beautiful.I hope you know that you are.
Getting lighter/whiter skin?
Lemon juice will do nothing to your skin except make you smell like a lemon. Nivia cream is a lightener, and there are others..but you have to use them all the time for them to work. Why bother?
Reply:Stay out of the sun, wear long clothes and your skin won't get much sunlight, and therefore won't tan.

The safest way is make-up.

Reply:Go See your dermatologist or go to a certified esthitician. There are professional methods for bleaching darkened areas or pigmented areas.
Reply:There is a fungal skin condition called "Petyrhiasis Versicolor" which causes a reversal of skin pigment in patches, usually on the arms, legs %26amp; stomach - basically a fungus that turns white skin brown %26amp; brown skin white. It could be that you have this condition.

If that's the case, it's not contagious or particularly harmful, so you've got no worries there, but you will need anti-fungal medication to get rid of it. I have this condition, it comes every couple of years or so, then I treat it %26amp; it goes away till the next time.

The treatment, as I said, is an anti-fungal lotion, such as Niazoral, which is applied to the affected areas at night, left to dry, %26amp; then washed off in the morning.

However, you need to get medical advice on this really - it's no good treating something if your using the wrong stuff to treat it with, right??

How to get skin to look fresh?

Okay so I recently started a skin care line that I really do love. I don't look like an oil slick by afternoon and my skin is SOOOO SOFT, no rough patches.

However my skin looks tired (maybe because I am exhausted) but it looks tired, not so fresh, my pores are way visible and the lines on my forehead are more visible.

What can I do to just look fresh - PS I never wear foundation or coverup...:( MAYBE at 29 it is time.
How to get skin to look fresh?
I think its because your pores are so open.. try tightening them by using something to tighten the pores.. something like masks..

good for you, not wearing foundation or coverup.. try some illuminating moisturizer (stila has one)
How to get skin to look fresh?
EXFOLIATION!!
Reply:At 29 is time to start using cream of OLAY. I know family and friends that use it and works fortheir fresh and younger looking face. Also try home remedies like, preparation H for puffy eyes. Is a good thing you don't use make up because they clog pores if not wash properly.
Reply:Try drinking lots of water. It will do wonders for your skin. Trust me!!
Reply:I suggest you use Avon they have many products that can help brighten your under eye area (like Lighten Up Plus Under eye Treatment $15) and many other treatments to help make your skin glow.

What would this skin-treatment be called?

I recently went to cancun and got really burnt on the first day. I didn't know the strength of the sun and had burns that were pretty severe, considering how dark I am. In short, my skin ended up peeling off (gross, i know). By the end of the week, all my skin had heeled and now there's, i guess, new skin (in a sense) My acne has disappeared, it feels softer, and looks even. I know this effect wont last long, how can I get it done in a spa/salon/doctor's office? Is it exfoliating? There must be a safer way. I don't know how else to describe it, ask if you need more details.
What would this skin-treatment be called?
Basically, you want to speed up cell turnover to keep your pores clear. These things will help promote exfoliation/clear away old skin.

You can ask your doctor or consult a dermatologist about getting a prescription for Retin-A or Differin.

You can get a facial microdermabrasion or a glycolic peel at a salon. Be sure to go to an experienced person. A facial should never hurt. If it starts to feel painful or uncomfortable, let the tech know %26amp; have her stop.
What would this skin-treatment be called?
dunno is it the sun?
Reply:I recommend silk peels... much less invasive than other treatments and give you exactly the same results. I have had two of them and absolutely love it! I have regular monthly visits now, unless I feel the need for more, but she doesnt recommend more than twice a month.

You should look into them.

Brown skin and platinum blond hair?

How Would I look if I colouerd my hair platinum blond?

I have brown skin, like I'm from "indien" and I have, nor dark or light brown skin.

You know like Indiers have.
Brown skin and platinum blond hair?
um no you need to have darker colors to match your skin
Brown skin and platinum blond hair?
probably not :/ you might can pull off highlights
Reply:Sounds a little... porn star / Drag Queen.

Why not a honey or light brown with blonde highlight. Something lighter but not platinum blonde; that's too drastic.
Reply:The most i would do is brown highlights
Reply:i dnt think so maybe jus highlights
Reply:it might work if you get the right color hue. try a wig first.
Reply:i am natually like black in the summer with blonde hair that is almost white!!
Reply:no. i think that simply looks weird.
Reply:Heavy platinum highlights would look good instead of going platinum all over!
Reply:It looks horrible. Dont do it. It doesnt look natural. And it looks cheap. If you want to change your hair color. Keep it dark and add carmel lowlights to it. The whole point of make-up and haircolor is to accentuate your beauty not be something that your not. I love to see women who are comfortable with themselves. Dark skined women with natural dark hair and features are beautiful. I love my pale skin and red hair and i would love to have dark skin and have dark brown hair but I know not to do it because it wouldnt look good on me. Embrace your beauty and keep it dark but add some flair to it! Any good hairdresser would not let you bleach your hair with all those dark features.

Dry Skin?????

i have really dry skin on my legs and they look kind of scaly..., and i use Vaseline moisturiser but it doesnt help...

what can i do to make my skin smooth again?
Dry Skin?????
Dry skin problems respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an over-the-counter cream that contains lactic acid or lactic acid and urea.

In a more serious skin diseases, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.

Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include hydrocortisone-containing lotions. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.

Dry Skin?????
i also have very dry skin i use aveno it works well u can get it anywhere from cvs to rhide aid good luck
Reply:Try buying moisture for the shower, like Aveno body wash. You can find that at a drug store or Walmart. Once your done using soap, lather the moisture and use it on your legs. Then once you get out use lotion for extreme dry skin.
Reply:Before you shower use a dry exfoliating glove (every 2nd day) on your dry parts. Then shower with a moisturizing soap or body wash.

After you pat yourself dry, put some Neutrogena moisturizer on. I use the hand cream in the summer on my legs, and in the winter I use the foot cream. Its not as gross as it sounds and works really well.
Reply:I would use aveno or dove for dry skin
Reply:You should try Baby Oil Gel. I keep it in the shower and rub it all over after I dry off.

Then I put an old pair of sweats or something that wont get ruined on and proceed to get ready.

My skin shines all day and night. It feels so soft.
Reply:Here are a few tips for you:

Take short, warm (never HOT) showers as this will dry your skin out even more.

Use a mild soap like Purpose, it won't dry you out.

Put on good heavy moisturizer within a minute of getting out of the shower...Eucerin and Aquaphor are both really good, apply them often. Reapply at bedtime.

Use a humidifier in the winter.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water each day to keep well hydrated.

If you don't have any success, you might ask a dermatologist for further advice.

Dry skin on nose turned red and inflamed.?

not an infection.

my skin on my nostril was really dry and on top of that I put rubbing alchoal on it to clean it and left it alone, so I ignored the pealing, and when I woke up the skin was a big patch of red.

what should I do.
Dry skin on nose turned red and inflamed.?
Get some Hydrating Creme Concentrate from beeroyalproducts.com and a little bit goes along way. This is an awesome product. It doesn't contain any petroleum products so it won't dry you out even more. It will leave you feeling baby powder fresh. I love it.
Dry skin on nose turned red and inflamed.?

Unknown skin/ possibly systemic infection- no diagnosis- medical professionals could give me ideas?

My husband, son (8), and I all have skin problems- abcesses cellulitis and severe acne. Son has just had one abcess, but hubby and I have had many recurrent abcesses and cellulitis. I think it is related to some kind of dental infection. All of us keep getting cavities. I have had to have many teeth extracted. It gets better with antibiotics like clindamycin, and after extractions, but always comes back. It starts near the neck and jawline for me, spreads from there, and I feel pockets of fluid under the tissues in my neck that seem to shift to another location where I have sores when I apply any pressure to the pockets, and my skin starts to feel mushy like a rotten tomato. When it gets bad I also have fast heart palps- and twice they heard a murmur during a 'bad' time that was not present later. Is it possible for this to all be connected to a pathogen?

This has been going on for a couple years first husb. and I, and now my son too. Low income clinic- never see same doc twice.
Unknown skin/ possibly systemic infection- no diagnosis- medical professionals could give me ideas?
Hi there. I have a pretty rudimentary knowledge of these things, but there's what I think:

- It sounds like you've seen the Wiki article on tooth abcesses already. I'd ignore the paragraph about cashews that's there now since that seems to be thrown in as some unproven advertising.

- I would connect the abcesses and cellulitis together....that would usually be caused by a bacterial agent. If clindamycin/another broad sprectrum antibiotic has helped you and your family members at least temporarily, I'd suggest trying to take it over a course of months/a year or so if you can get a prescription. Sometimes these drugs need to be taken over that long of a time span to improve the situation/clear it up for good (I was on tetracycline/doxycycline for about a year for severe acne before it cleared up, along w/ other skin treatments).

- The heart palps might be caused by a bacterial/viral agent if it's gotten into your blood, which would be indicative of a systemic infection. It may or may not be the same bacterial agent that's causing your famiy's dental problems. You might see about getting samples taken from you and your family members to see if a common agent can be isolated from both the dental tissue and bloodwork.

- Just in general, since your family has been having the same dental problems (how long has this been going on?), it might be related to your family's diet. Obviously some diets promote the buildup of biofilms on your teeth more than others, and doing stuff like not brushing your teeth/not flossing regularly/not getting your teeth cleaned will aid in calculus formation and all that gross stuff. The bacteria that's causing your abcesses might be a normal oral bacteria like a Streptococcus or a Staphylococcus that's become an opportunistic pathogen, though it could also be a pathogen that you've all acquired through preparing certain foods in a certain setting, possibly through water...it could be a lot of things.

So I would say you should write down your and your family's history of these problems to show it's been recurring over a certain timespan, and present this to a doctor who'll listen and try to develop a long-term treatment plan for your family until the problems clear up. You should all probably continue to take broad-spectrum antibiotics, as long as your doctor agrees, to see if that will clear the infection (and possibly the acne too). I would see if you can get bloodwork done to see if there's anything unusual there that might be behind the heart palpitations, if you haven't already done so. I hope this has helped.
Unknown skin/ possibly systemic infection- no diagnosis- medical professionals could give me ideas?
Because you are all suffering from what seems to be the same ailment or ailments, it's likely (but not guaranteed) to be a pathogen related to your surroundings.

You all need full-spectrum blood tests to rule this in or out.

It could be that you are all unlucky enough to need root-canal work at the same time, but this is not likely.

If the blood tests don't find the cause for your chronic-conditions, ask your doctor to refer you to a diagnostician, who will be more likely to identify what you're suffering from than an over-worked clinic-doctor.

A test on your hair could also reveal an underlying cause.

You could also ask your local provider to test your water supply;

It could be caused by something you are all regularly exposed to, in your enviroment; your home or workplace, or something you all consume; water, food etc.

Good luck.

--------------------------------------...

based on your update:

It might be worthwhile asking your doctor to test you for high uric-acid levels (hyperuricemia).
Reply:You have seen a MD on several different occasions at the same clinic. And even though they are different doctors each time they should still all consult your chart, and so would know what the other doctors have done concerning your treatment and whatever conclusions they may have come to. I am assuming that blood tests have been taken but no pathogens were found.

The fact that you are all experiencing this "long term" makes me wonder if the cause might be environmental. My first steps would be to have a sample of your tap water tested for contamination. If you are hooked to a city water system they will do it for free. If you have a well or spring you can contact a local university or college and they may also test it for free. Also Look for any discolorations in your walls and ceiling tiles that might signify a mold infestation inside the walls or in the attic. Other things to look at are allergic reactions to household cleaners, detergents and other products.

If that fails, just to rule out an environmental cause you should move out of your home for a few weeks to see if the condition gets better.
Reply:My daughter had a skin infection not as severe as yours and not with anywhere near the number of symtoms. We took her to the Doctor who did not prescribe anything as it was to vague for him to do much at all. Very frustrating. What I did was take her home, run a nice hot bath ,filled it with a kg of salt and we soaked her in it every night for an hour. Nothing much will live with salt, not even bugs on/under the skin. After a month it all cleared up and the Doctor was very surprised. Simple but very effective. Just needs to be done over a long period.

Hormones...control....clear skin....?

i have heard that its the bloody"hormones"which is the culprit for unclear skin.so controlling the hormones clears the complexion.so how to do it?i have whiteheads and it issoooooo irritating.iam just 26 but my skin is bad.just looking at my skin in the mirror is enough to curb my enthusiasm in life.is there any hope for people like me?
Hormones...control....clear skin....?
YES THERE IS! there is hope for people like us. i have seen some medications in rite aid etc. that cure acne "from the inside out". Also try Clearasil Ultra acne clearing scrub. it works really well. drinking lots and lots of water will also help clear it up. proactiv might work for you, because it works really well for some but not others. if nothing else works, see a dermatologist.

good luck! :-)

Oil skin and moisturizer?

The skin on my face is very oily and it looks very wet. I've heard that all teenagers should use moisturizer to maintain a healthy skin. Under these circumstances should i be using 1??
Oil skin and moisturizer?
actually yes, you should be, surprisingly. With an SPF. To have healthy skin, you need a correct balance of water and oil and by moisturizing you are keeping that balance in check. Actually, not using a moisturizer can make skin MORE oily.

The trick is to find one that's an non-oily formula, and a mattifying moisturizer, which will moisturize your skin properly while soaking up oil on the surface, keeping your skin looking matte and non-oily. There's a few products that I can recommend, such as Clearasil Total Control All Day Mattifying Moisturizer, Shiseido Pureness Mattifying Moisturizer, and numerous others... browse around your local store.

I used to have oily skin, although it changed with time and is normal now, and I used to use a Neutrogena Mattifying Gel, don't know if they still make it but I HIGHLY recommend it if they still make it. Also be sure to use a powder when you wear makeup.
Oil skin and moisturizer?
you know besan

make a paste of it and apply it as cream.

wash after some time by water slowly.
Reply:no because you don't need one. it might cause you to have pimples because too much oil helps stimulate the growth of the bacteria staphylococcus aureus that causes acne...
Reply:I don't recommend it - you don't need one.
Reply:If you want a Great Natural Moisurizer, Virgin Emu Oil is what alot of celebrities use because it will not clog your pores and gets rid of small lines on your face.

What drugstore skincare line is best for teenage skin with mild breakouts and slightly sever blackheads?

MY SKIN-

large pores and blackheads on nose

Mild acne, maybe 1 pimple once a week (that lasts for that week! then a new one comes!)

I recently got 3 pimples at once! I'm afraid I'm going to end up with severe acne,

I have dry but oily skin, its like the skin is dry, but the oil sits on top of the dry skin. (If that makes sense sorry!)

My nose and around my mouth are where my skin is dry, my cheeks and forehead have smooth supple skin.

Thanks for anyone willing to read this and help me!
What drugstore skincare line is best for teenage skin with mild breakouts and slightly sever blackheads?
Go to Wal-Mart and get a acne system called Acne-Stop or something to that effect. Its in orange bottles and works WONDERS!
What drugstore skincare line is best for teenage skin with mild breakouts and slightly sever blackheads?
well i am a cosmetic and Vichy is perfect for teenager or Biotherm would be good too... i use it and it works and the price is not too expensive..it is affordable. plus it doesnt ruin your skin..
Reply:There are a few regimes out there right now on the market at the drug store. Go and look and find one with some steps.

Also be sure you do them twice a day. Without fail.

Before doing them add a hot wash cloth to your face, repeat and heat in micro for double warmth to draw the dirt to the surface. For the black heads - after you wash them gently push your nose upward (GENTLY)

Find a good acne mask once a week

and exfoliate twice a week (acne or black head)

Murad made my skin worse?

so i had like a few breakouts on my forhead before using murad and after i started using it like a week later i got breakouts and white heads on my face where i would NEVER normally get them [cheeks, chin, near ears] and then i read about the whole "purging process" where u start breaking out alot because of the prouct and then over time ur skin will be clearer. well it just made it alot worse and now im pissed and feel so bad cus if i didnt use this then my skin wouldnt be like this. ive stopped using this product and my question is if i stopped using it will my skin go back to the way it was or will it have long term effects and did anyone else go through this with murad and how long did it take to get better
Murad made my skin worse?
Yeah I ve been through this bull and unfortunately even though you stop this bad creams, your pimples do not go away like you would want or expect them to go! You have two choices whether you be patient until they go (which takes time of course), or you go to the dermatologist to get some tetracycline so it would help to heal your pimples!

I hate pimples!!!

Take care ;-) and good luck!
Murad made my skin worse?
yea thats what its called purging just wait a couple of weeks. thats what happend to me but now my skin is clear ! Report It

Tan or pale skin?

Does anyone think pale skin is absolutely gorgeous? I do. For awhile I used self tanner just to see what is was like, and I tried tanning ... but it looked so fake and dumb with my blonde hair.

Am I the only one that thinks blondes look good with pale skin, and that the combination of pale skin and pale hair is stunning? Doesnt it look more natural looking?
Tan or pale skin?
I love pale skin, no matter the hair color. Most tan people look very fake
Tan or pale skin?
yes that is cool
Reply:It depends, some blondes look fake with the tanned skin, If you are trying that look, just try not to be so overdramatic with the tanning or you will look (dumb blondish-fakey) lol. Pale skin is not bad at all, actually, it rocks on some people and its natural! Its not for everyone, however. by the way tanned skin looks natural on some people. (I don't really have a fave, but I like the natural tanned look!) Good Luck!lol
Reply:ew no. im italian and am naturally tan. and im hot.

my friend is european, but shes really pale and shes REALLY ugly (no offence to her)

so id say tan wins.
Reply:I like it too..
Reply:If someone has naturally dark skin...its good..and sometimes tans look good...but REAL TANS..not that fake spray on orange ****...but i by far would rather just be pale and keep my natural skin tone...its way more healthy...and i like being dramatic...i like extremes..id never want to just be in the middle of anything...id either wanna be pale as hell...or really dark...short as hell or model tall...real skinny...or real thick...real dark hair or real real blonde...i just dont like middle anything...its just average to me.

and to the girl above ...just cos your hotter then one pale girl...doesnt mean **** LMFAO you cant be so ignorant to think that....shes probably just not good looking color aside.
Reply:im natually blonde; but i prefer tan...
Reply:I have really pale skin and i hate it!! People always give me crap for it so im shocked to hear some people say they like it!! I've always wanted tan skin but I just dont tan good at all and i dont use fake tanners because i agee it looks fake. But i do like tan skin more.
Reply:Depends on the underlying skin tone. There's a difference between scandanavian or northern european blonde and mediterranean lower european/american/similar blonde.

I usually prefer pale skin on myself.
