Loose skin?

How do I get rid of loose skin on my stomach?? I have been doing crunches, and I have lost all of my baby weight, but the skin is still very loose on my stomach.

Use weight resistance when you're doing your abdominal exercises. Its one thing to do crunches, its another to actually be doing weight resistance. You should begin to see the results you're looking for in about 2 weeks if you keep at it.
Reply:this is probably because you lost weight and your skin had stretched and is still stretched so i would recommend some firming cream
Reply:How long has it been? If it's been under a year, there is still a good chance that you simply lost weight faster than your skin could react! You DO have to drink a ton of water. Rather than smothering your skin with lotions, buy a mature aloe vera plant. Only cut small slices every day from the lowest leaves first (strongest). Rub some on your skin after every shower and every night (or as often as you can). An nice healthy plant (large) can cost you 40-50 bucks, but it lasts and it really is amazing at skin repair!
Reply:Loose skin will just have to go away on its own. By doing stomach exercises you are toning up the muscle not the skin. If you had excess weight before your skin would stretch due to its elastic nature, but if you lose weight fairly quicky it would just take time before you skin forms into its new shape. So through time it should form, unless its really excess then you will have to get surgery
Reply:Put yourself on a strictly water diet. Use any thick cream, you just pay more for it to say firming on the bottle. Keep doing your crunches. I also reccomend watching some shakira music videos or buying some belly dancing tapes. This is fun and also a fast way to work out your abs. I bet your husband will enjoy watching you do it.
Reply:I don't think a lot of people have even read your question. It's not that you have a lot of weight to lose - it's that you have loose skin. I would suggest continuing to do the crunches and ab exercises but also wear some sort of compression garment that holds your stomach in which should help with the skin. This is what they make you do after liposuction to help with any possible loose skin.

Reply:you have to run and jog and run and jog at least once a day around your block or for about 30 minutes and then as your body gets used to it go longer. crunches only tones the fat but the only way to loose the extra weight is to run or jog. Another thing no carbs like rice, fries, potato or anything fried. Carbs go straight to your tummy. Also you can to yoga it's what I do after birth and everyone knows it's hard to get rid of the tummy area after birth. You have to be strict on yourself. you have to only drink water or anything that has really low carb.
