Reply:jergens is good...but i use Johnson%26amp;Johnsons baby lotion..the pink one..now i dont have problems with dry skin anymore..

good luck!
Reply:use oil of olay in the shower lotion .. it leaves your legs feeling smooth and not dry ..

then try some of their regular lotion .. its in the purple bottle.

you can find them both at walmart, walgreens, target, cvs, and any grocery store.

hope this helps. =]
Reply:Try Palmers--any of them. I had really dry skin too and Palmers is one of the only things that works for me. Oh, and Johnsons soothing naturals intense moisture creme works really well for all over. It cures your dry skin but isnt sticky and greasy. It smells really good too and makes your skin super smooth.
Reply:Lubriderm is the best - it's not greasy and it leaves your skin feeling great
Reply:Read tips on Skincare and much more to help you better on this site
Reply:My skin is sometimes a bit dry, i use Johnsons baby oil after I've had a shower and it really makes a difference.
Reply:Check the label no mineral oils in creams they dry skin not help it. I use any product from Arbonne I find their Intelligence body cream is best -

I also use the re9 regime on my face (it's never been better)

baby oil does not help your skin it's pure distilled petroleum = cheap and hardens.. (I used to use it too until I studied skin care and what products use)

Use nutragena acne wash for your back with a lufa on a stick.
Reply:Try Cetaphil cream -- cream, not the lotion. This is a super-favorite of dermatologists. If it works for you, you can buy a tub of it cheap at the drugstore. To try it, they have a tube smaller size (I don't mean a sample size). Once your legs and body are less dry, it is probably easier to go to a lotion just because it slathers better. Jergens, Keri, there are tons of them. Personally, I'm a fan of the Trader Joe's unscented lotion for everyday. It goes on fast (no waiting in the morning), it is not sticky, and it is really cheap. For something more luxurious, my favorite is Archipelago Botanicals Yuzu Antioxidant Body Lotion. It is really rich and smells fantastic, but it is on the expensive side so you might want to find a tester somewhere to make sure that you love it.

Face is tricky and like you said it is different for everyone and your skin will change over time. Products that worked in the past can stop working for you. One key principle, however, is that even though you are dry, you still need to exfoliate. Your products can't work if all your dead skin is in the way. With dry skin, you need a gentle exfoliating solution. I use a glycolic product that I get at my dermatologist. These are pretty widely available. At first, it might seem a little harsh but you skin will adapt very quickly. Also, at first you can use it every other day, then once a day, etc. A very gentle exfoliant that I've also used over the years is Dermalogica's gentle exfoliating mask. You could try a soft wash cloth, too, but for me, that would be too harsh and the glycolic acid makes your skin look so good.

When you are not exfoliating, of course, you want something soothing and gentle -- not a soap. Look at milk-type products that you put on without wetting your face first. Sounds wierd if you haven't used them, but they clean with less drying. Kiehl's makes a nice one, but there are plenty out there. I also use the super-popular olive oil cleanser from DHC mail order. It is soothing to really dry skin, and I especially like it in the winter.

After the exfoliation or cleansing try the Cetaphil cream all over your face, eyes, neck.. everywhere. If you are really, really dry, you can check out serums too that you can layer with a moisturizer. I'm a big fan of BioElements Recovery Serum (if you are really dry). It is expensive ($60 for a little container), but it lasts and is magic and with all the money that you are saving on creams... If the Cetaphil, doesn't work for you, I've had success over the years with the Phytomer products too. Keep in mind, that you want to layer, layer, layer and this somehow keeps the moisture in. Everyday, I do Cetaphil and a Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer/sunscreen as a base. If I was going to be in a sunny area, I would also do a layer of a stronger sunscreen. If I was having dryness problems, I might go to the serum mentioned before or a primer (several companies make these) before the tinted moisturizer base. The layering works to keep the skin hydrated all day. Experiment. Good luck.
Reply:I have eczema, but not bad enough to have a prescription.

These are the creams and lotions I use and I think they work really well.

Body: Coco Balm

Hands: Nutrogena Hand Cream

Feet: Nutrogena Foot Cream

I'm going to try Nutrogena Body Lotion next time it's on a 3 for 2 sale... But based on their hand and foot cream, I would recommend this...

I find that coco balm makes my skin feel really soft and smooth, and it also evens out skin tone... As far as I am aware, Palmers make two different ones - a blue bottle and a white bottle... I hate the smell of the white bottle, but love the smell of the blue one.. They also do unfragranced.

Both Nutrogena and Palmers are good value for money.
Reply:When you take a bath put some baby oil in your bath water!
Reply:I use to have very dry skin, especially after i started shaving.

I also use Jergans ultra healing.

after i shower i apply Jergans ultra healing to lock in the moisture my skin just got after the shower.

I dont have dry skin anymore because of doing this.

My sister does the same thing.

It worked wonders on both of us.

I hope i helped:]

Reply:Aveeno, (for face because it won't clog pores if you use the right amount) %26amp; N茅olia (for the rest of your body, because it is organic, has olive oil which is great for the skin, and vitamin E in it, also good for the skin.)
Reply:I use baby oil lotion all over my body.
Reply:Baby oil for the dry skin right before you dry off. For your back acne try rubbing alcohol.
Reply:I would say use olay in shower moisturizers, the purple one is probably the heaviest, the first time i showered with it i went without lotion for the whole day. the downside is a greasy shower after you use it. now i just use a lotion called Skin Milk from walmart or Walgreen's- it has deep moisture and i like the way it smells, like "clean baby" 鈾?br>Reply:put a little of destin not the baby destin the other in your lotion it works
