My skin, pimples, scars, HELP!!!?
I know exactly what you mean, I had the same problem for the longest time!
I really recomment Oxy Products, they WILL dry out your skin but they definitely got rid of all of my acne- I noticed most of the redness went away the first day I started using them! Even though it's targeted to men/boys, I use it and it works really well. (it's unscented)
If I were you I would buy (and use in this order)
-Oxy Daily Face wash
-Oxy Cleansing Face pads
-Oxy Spot treatment
(and maybe once every couple of weeks the Oxy facial scrub)
-Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizing- (ONLY ON YOUR DRY SPOTS!!)
All of this should be available at a local grocery or drug store, and comes out to be at about the same price (give or take a few dollars) as Proactiv.
Good luck, I hope you find a way to cure your skin problems like I did! :)
My skin, pimples, scars, HELP!!!?
Use some spot cream and expholiate every day or night
Reply:Use proactive then use a lotion that is moisturizing. It really worked for me. If you have scars use a skin bleaching cream prescribed by a doctor.
Reply:well first get some concealer with saliyclic acid. A good brand is Neutrogena. Make sure you find the right color for your skin tone. Cover all of the blemishes up and after you put that concealer on get some pancake makeup, again right color for your skin tone and blend it in your face to make it look natural. Each night, take the stuff off and wash your face with any type of acne wash, I suggest acne free, it works well and better for you than proactive. Then put on some toner, and put some pimple cream on your acne. A good product is persa gel 10 by clean and clear. Wake up in the morning wash your face off again and put on your concealer and pancake. This helped me alot! Good luck! and I know what you are dealing with, kids always say "You have acne, you have alot of zits on your face" Everyone gets them.
Also all of the products listed above can be found at CVS, BROOKS, RITE-AID,TARGET, WAL MART! any place the will usually have stuff like this or similar!
Good luck!

Reply:ProActive. It is worth every single dime. Even if you have to cut out something else in your life to pay for it. I have used it since 1998 and would not be without it.
Reply:use vitamin E oil
Reply:Wash your face and resist the udgre to pick
Reply:Okay i kinda had the same problem like you, i know it sucks but if you go to bath and body works they have something that will help its from a demertoligist and if you can get ur parents to pay 40 dollars for the kit it works wonders!
Hope i helped :]!
Reply:I have that too, STOP PICKING!!, i know it's hard but you will get scars for the rest of your life, since your skin is oily but when you use proactive it dries and cracks your skin, try Neutrogena Oil-free, Anti-acne moisturizer, it works really well for me when my skin cracks, I had that problem too, but this moisturizer doesn't make your skin oily, and i haven't been breaking out. Also Pro-active helps, but its not just puberty, it's could also be from your diet so if you drinks sodas alot or have Candie, chips etc. try to cut back.
Reply:dont clean your face with soap (that will clog your pores). Instead, use cotton with some rubbing alcohol on it and gently clean your face with it to remove the oil and dirt. Then, itll be good if you just stop picking at them, because the bacteria spreads and creates more.
Reply:I am 11, and I started with having pimples when I was 9. Before I started 6th grade on August 28th, 2007, people were making fun of my in 4th and 5th because of my acne. To tell you the truth, only the girls made fun of me, because I already beat up all of the boys that made fun of me. So, the boys stopped and the girls kept making fun of me. Now, in 6th grade, no one makes fun of me. Now, a lot of people have acne in my grade. You will lose most of them when you grow older. I wash my face with acne treatment twice a day and most of mine have disappeared! Don't get discouraged! Good luck!

Reply:OK well this is what i did: i think you should temporally use proactive until most of the zits are gone, that after that i stopped using proactive and a bought a foaming cleanser, a toner, and a water based moisturizer (i also have oily/combo skin)... oh and i bought some exfoliator. so this is what you do with all these products:
1) first wash your face with the foaming cleanser ( make sure its foaming)
2) than you use a good exfoliator (i prefer St Ives he he)
3) take a cotton ball and put some toner on it... and than put it on your face ( usually i just put it on the T- zone cuz my cheeks are ok)
4) and lastly you put a little bit of that water based moisturizer on your skin.
I do this everyday twice a day and my skin is so much better now... but don't use the exfoliater everyday cuz that's bad, use it 1-3 times a week... Good luck!!!
Reply:First of all, you need to use an oil-free moisturizer after you put on your Proactiv, or your skin will freak out about being too dry and over-produce more oil.
Next, try making your own facial masques and applying once or twice a week to clarify skin and fade those scars. A tomato-honey masque will really lighten the marks, and a baking soda/bran one will reduce breakouts.
Reply:Directly rub potato slices all over the face, helps to get rid of blemishes and pimple scar. The most basic form of pimple prevention is hygiene and preventive skin care.
