The skin under my nose is flaking! Is there a quick and effective way to heal this skin?

I have a terrible headcold and the constance noseblowing has dried out my skin! I've tried normal moisturizers, but it's not really working.

Oh hun! feel better! I get the same thing when I get a cold. Here's my method of getting that skin back together!





Vaseline Intesive Care moistureizer!!! I swear by it!! Put a dab of that on there. After that I follow up with petroleum vaseline. It really seals in the moisture! (here's a hint, use the vicks vapor rub with vaseline instead of plain vaseline! It seals in the moisture and unplugs the stuffiest of noses!)

its cause you blow your nose too much just put lotion on it daily

Reply:any kind of chapstick will work. just put it on like you would for your lips.
Reply:keep lotion on it (unscented) ... and try not to rub so hard when you wipe your nose.

Reply:Wet or moisten a tissue with water or lotion. Secondly apply vaseline frequently. This will help reduce the roughness caused by blowing, wiping and friction from the tissue. It will help!

Reply:This happens to me too...I say keep it moisturized (Palmer's Cocoa Butter and Avon Moisture Therapy is what I use) and try not to blow your nose so much. Also you may want to change your lotion and facial cleaner/soap.
