Getting lighter/whiter skin?

getting lighter/whiter skin?

Does anyone know of anything that will help your skin get ligther? My skin is starting to get dark spots in certain areas and in general it's too dark. I have been trying to use lemon juice for the past 5days because i heard it's acid and can burn the melanin inside of you, making a lighter complexion emerge. But so far it has done nothing, so is there anything else i can do? Also is there any creams, lotions, etc i can buy at a department store.

There are fade creams available at your local was-mart or any drug store.I heard that black and white fade cream is good.Palmer's has a good one too,but with any skin lightener the process is slow but will work with continuous use.Make sure you buy on with sun protection in it or use a sun block with it because sun can make the spots reappear.PLEASE BE DOING THIS FOR THE RIGHT REASONS!!! Make sure you LOVE yourself the way you are,and are only doing this to fade the dark spots. Not to preach, but so many young women are learning to dislike themselves because the media says that they are not beautiful.I hope you know that you are.

Lemon juice will do nothing to your skin except make you smell like a lemon. Nivia cream is a lightener, and there are others..but you have to use them all the time for them to work. Why bother?
Reply:Stay out of the sun, wear long clothes and your skin won't get much sunlight, and therefore won't tan.

The safest way is make-up.

Sorry I don't actually know, however if you look on line about info on him it might tell ideas about how he bleached his skin and the same thing might work to lighten your skin

good luck
Reply:Go See your dermatologist or go to a certified esthitician. There are professional methods for bleaching darkened areas or pigmented areas.
Reply:There is a fungal skin condition called "Petyrhiasis Versicolor" which causes a reversal of skin pigment in patches, usually on the arms, legs %26amp; stomach - basically a fungus that turns white skin brown %26amp; brown skin white. It could be that you have this condition.

If that's the case, it's not contagious or particularly harmful, so you've got no worries there, but you will need anti-fungal medication to get rid of it. I have this condition, it comes every couple of years or so, then I treat it %26amp; it goes away till the next time.

The treatment, as I said, is an anti-fungal lotion, such as Niazoral, which is applied to the affected areas at night, left to dry, %26amp; then washed off in the morning.

However, you need to get medical advice on this really - it's no good treating something if your using the wrong stuff to treat it with, right??
