Oily skin help!?

My skin, well mainly my forehead, gets really oily. I wash my face twice a day - gently - with nuetrogena (sp?) oil free acne wash. And sometimes before I go to bed I use aloe vera.

Why is my skin so oily and what should I do to prevent it?
Oily skin help!?
Your skin is probably oily because it's *so* dry. It's true! A lot of times, our skin will produce oils to take away the dryness, which only makes it shiny, oily, and gross to us. One way to get rid of it, would be to use a moisturizer. I like Olay, it's light, and lasts practically for forever, and it works. You might also touch your forehead a lot, or have your hair on it a lot, which will cause oily skin. I'd try not touching it, or if you can, get your hair out of your face!

If you're still sensitive to the oily skin, while your skin works out it's problems, try blotting tissues. They'll soak up extra oil, and make you look just right!

Hope this helps.

Reply:I use Clinique's 3 step face wash system because they have one especially made for oily skin. It really helps! Also the best thing that works for me is Clean and Clears Oil Absorbing sheets. I have an oily t-zone area and these really work! I use about 2 a day and all you have to do is wipe them across your forehead when youre feeling shiny/oily and it takes it right off! You can see it on the sheet after you do it too. It's kind of gross but it's great. It's only 4-5 dollars for a pack of 50 and you can get them at any local store such as wal-mart or walgreens. Hope this helps!
