Oily Skin Products?

I have very oily skin (always have) and it's very annoying. Within an hour of washing my face there's a nice layer of shine. Has anyone tried Biore pore minimising wash? (I was going to buy some because I heard it worked great for oily skin but don't want to waste my money if it doesn't). Does anyone have any other good products they swear by?

Ah! I use that face wash :] I love it actually. I was using the Blemish Fighting one, but had to switch since I was on new acne meds. But anyway, I love it. It makes my face clean and looking polished. I also use the Biore Triple Action Astringent and the moisturizer.





Remember to cleanse, tone and moisturize 2 times a day [day and night] ONLY. I know that you may want to wash your face more, but dont .. it will only make it more oily. The toner I use sometimes more throughout the day .. no more than 4 though. Buy some oil blotting sheets (again Biore, Clean and Clear or the CVS brand) .. and use a translucent powder to blot your face during the day .. and put it on over your makeup.





Biore has worked wonders for my face (also try their clay mask twice a week!). You cant stop the oilyness but you can make it a bit less oily.

St.Ives Blemish and blackhead control. its for oily skin...ive been using it for months!! i use it in the morning, and at night before i go to bed. and it works great!!! my skin isnt all shiny cuz i have VERY oily skin...if ur skin gets real oily within an hour after using this stuff...try to get some shine control pads and carry them in a purse. they will have some at walgreens, or CVS, or walmart. it doesnt matter what brand.


oh yeah for the st.ive, i NEVER use the face wash. when i use the face wash, it never leaves my skin glowing, and it dries it out, making my oil glands get all messed making even more oil! i only use the scrub, it also exfoliates, and everytime im done, i noticed that my skin used to have a certain glow to it. its good.
Reply:i love almay's 3 step system for oily skin. definately try it and all the product that go with it. i also like the oil blotting papers available from many different companys, there great for anytime of day especially if ur on the go. biore has some great product but ive never tried the pore minimising wash.
Reply:try clinique's 3 step: face wash, clarifying lotion, and moisturizing gel. it can be a bit pricey about $60 for all three, but it's worth it. i replace mine every 3 - 4 months. you can mix and match in order to customize which works best for you - from mild to very oil. personally, i use strength #3 and i'm still shine free hours later. you have to do the three steps 2 times per day (morning %26amp; night) and you'll start to see results within 1 - 2 weeks. i'm sure any clinique specialist at a major department store is willing to give you a free consultation. or check it out online at clinique.com.
