My skin is peeling all over my body... why?

All over my body my skin is peeling.

This has happened twice before, but I never really thought about it.

It itches a little, and when I get it wet (like in the shower) and rub it, the particles stick together and it rubs off greyish in little rolled up chunks.

I havn't been using any new products, and havn't changed how long I've been out in the sun or anything like that.

It happens all over my body- my arms, legs stomach, face.

When it "peels" off underneath is a little red, but not sore and goes away after a while.

I'm asking why this is happening, if I have a disease or if it is normal.

The part that bugs me is where I can't reach on my back. It itches a bit but I can't get to the dead skin which really bugs me.

Any suggestions??

your skin is tooo dry.

you need to moistrize it everyday.

your skin needs regular cleansing to remove dirt, bacteria, make-up, oils, and dead skin cells.

Reply:You really should consult with a dermatologist. Unless you are really sunburned or exposed to some sort of chemicals on a regular basis (not healthy) this sounds like a serious health issue. Go to you regular doctor or a clinic and tell themw aht is wrong.
Reply:you might have been sun burnt and just not known it. sun burn itches/stings in the shower
Reply:It means you are not bathing enough and that you are also getting too much sun.
Reply:See a doctor, a dermitologist. It is cause for concern.
Reply:it could be a type of fungus that's not harmful and non spreadable. go to the Dr. to be sure... you could have a skin condition or be allergic to something. Good Luck
Reply:i had dry skin so i got one of those skin brushs it worked really good. you can get them at Whole Food or any other health food store.
