Is anyone familiar with a skin disease/affliction which causes tiny fibers protruding from the skin?

A co-worker suffers from some sort of skin disease/affliction which produces tiny red and bluish fibers imbedded in his skin. He spends hours each day with tweezers and a jeweler's loupe picking these tiny fibers from the skin on his hands and fingers.

it's called Morgellons. visit http://morgellons.org for more information.

Of course, it could also be carpet/clothes fibers.

I was a morgellons sufferer!

Yeah, it's really wierd. It starts with a M - i can't remember what it is. There was a special on 20/20 or something last week.
Reply:Nearly all (95% of) adults with the symptoms of this skin disease have received a diagnosis of DOP or Delusional Parasitosis.

PERSONS ABOVE ME, CORRECT IN DIAGNOSIS....THANKS
